was wondering how much would I be selling my bike for, if I ever need or decide to, at a regular market price. this is the bike... just to remind some extras: PM wheels PM front and rear break front and rear Braking discs, wave design polished X1 swing arm polished Metmachex oil tank polished 42 Mikuni Force exhaust custom velocity stack, Eddie Trotta Design top triple tree, Billet to Race polished bottom triple tree custom rear pulley, matching PM wheels pattern polished NRHS motor mount Works Performance mono shock, top of the line Buell Race ignition module short levers Jockey bar-end mirrors (those are very expensive, not the cheap one, they have a system to adjust them like the car), they're $150 each steering damper to be honest, how much would you spend for a bike like this one, with 5800 original miles and in like new condition? it's a '98 S1WL... |

Look, If I had the money to dispose of, that bike is woth every bit of 10g's. But, there isn't a market. You might get 6g's if you're lucky on fleabay. To be honest, I hope you do what I do...Keep all stock parts to be able to put it all back if selling needs and sell the aftermarket parts. That's the only way in the Buell world to recoup any of your investment. But if that ever happened, I'd take your pulley, levers, bar ends, and shock...I'd give you suitable replacements though! =) |

What year is it 95-96? Any motorwork done to it aside from carb, exhaust? Most of us are in the same boat we have more in them than they are worth but when you love something that's the real value. What hurts is having access to 08 1125r w/ 146 horses for 9 grand. My 96 S2 was $12400 out the door plus another 7 k in it. KBB says it's worth $2500 |

yeah, it's a '98 S1WL. I know that this is the worst moment to even consider a sale, I was just trying to figure out cause I might need some cash to open up a business and was scanning the market to see if I could get enough funds to open this business. 10K is what I think my bike worth, considering what's around, how much it get sold and the difference with my bike and the general conditions. honestly, I hope this business won't get done, so I don't even have to consider a sale!!! we'll see, thanks for your opinion guys... |

Parting it out is the only way you'd get the 10g's man...Honestly. |

Edoardo, That would be a tragedy. You put so much into making it what it is. try to get a loan to start the business or get rid of the Ghost Rider if you have to get rid of one of them. I guess I am a little tuber biased. |

I know Eric, that's the first thing I had in my mind, maybe the easiest to put together some money, but yet the most painful!! I'll figure it out... |

Any business venture is a risk. Is the risk really worth giving up something you put so much time and money into? Personnaly I would rather borrow from the mob than give up something as beautiful as that! Nuff said.... BC Steve |

Steve, poor choice of words. Now you could be held as an accomplice if the mob kills him for a bad business venture LOL (he is Italian ). |

I will no sell my bikes, especially now that the market is so low and poor. people killed me on the XB board because I asked the same question about my XB, totally customized, to have an idea how much would I be having in my pocket in the best case scenario, but I've seen that what I've done to my bikes, is not recognized. so, I keep my babies and will enjoy them myself... |
