Anyone besides Force make a reverse cone megaphone exhaust for X-1's? The Force seems to have alot of problems according to posts I've read. You shouldn't have to make modifications or repairs to a quality product that is designed for a specific bike / application........... |

Steven, there are many places that makes megaphones, but I don't know of any that make bolt-on ones for Buells except Force. When I find a Race header, I'm going to order a stainless reverse cone megaphone in the size I need and build the bracketry to make it fit. Then I'll have a 2-piece Force style exhaust, but in Stainless . |

I have the first gen D&D exhaust for the X1. It is a megaphone type. It is a good exhaust but the front mounting tab needs to be welded back on. I'll get some pictures of it when I get home tonight. |

I'm not sure yet. I had a link to one place online but it's on my brother's PC, while I'm on my phone. IIRC the one place I found makes custom size Megs megaphones, $150 plus material for up to 4, so I could even have spares LOL. I'm gonna keep searching though and try and find one pre-made the size I need 'cuz they generally only run about $60/ea. |
