Does anyone have the part number for the x1 intake gasket handy? The person who installed the forcewinder many moons ago used the stock airobx seal and there is evidence of dry rot, which could be bad if a piece gets sucked in to the throttle body. |

Wait. The intake doesn't get removed when you put on a forcewinder. Are you sure you're not talking about this: 29059-88A Gasket, Air Cleaner to Support Plate to Carb That's what is used on my bike anyways. I heard if you replace the intake seals, use those blue ones (can't remember the name off top of my head). |

Brinnutz, you are correct. The gasket that would seal the forcwinder to the Fi unit. Not the intake manifold. Sorry about that. |

Hey man, that's why we are here. And Jramsey, the walking S3/X1 parts number guru! What about the FSM for his 2000 X1, I couldn't find the P/N |

Any dealer sponsors on the board want to order me a parts catalog and the gasket? I also need the updated tensioner #39975-90A and a primary cover gasket. I'd rather spend a few bucks with a forum dealer. |

'01 FSM #99490 -01Y same as '00 manual but updated for the shifter and the Data link relocation. No guru, just keep the parts books in the puter desk , seems like someone is always in need of a #. |

Ordered a manual. I'll swing by the dealer for the parts later this week. Thanks again! BTW, I just talked to Al and ordered the updated exhaust hanger and oil pump gear. The parts came with FREE advice! What a cool guy. |

BUELLers: If every one bought a FACTORY SERVICE MANUAL and PARTS BOOK for their YEAR and MODEL BUELL, Life would be a lot more understanding as we would all be on the same PAGE ... MAY THE LONG LASTING BUELL BE WITH YOU !!! |

Completely agree. There is no way anyone should be riding any bike, buell or not, without owning the service and parts manual. That's just crazay. p.s. got all the needed parts (tensioner, gasket, etc...)from a denver harley dealer earlier this morning. Those places sure are weird on the weekends. |
