I poked around Knowledge Vault, couldn't find an answer. I just bought a brand new S3T seat, but it didn't come with the pin on the bottom that allows the seat to be secured (by the latching mechanism). Should it have? Or is it a separate part number? if so, whats the p/n (something I read said it was very hard to find) and what is my chance of finding one. Thanks much. | |||

It's a separate P/N. I bought one from my local dealer within the last six months. I'll post the number tonight if nobody else post it up today. | |||

You could also just swap out the pin on your old seat. | |||

Think that S3 seat latch could be modified for an M2, as long as the seat is modified as well? Interesting. | |||

Crap, just looked at my Corbin and there seems to be a nut to hold the pin in place. I looked at that PDF but the pin says (not illustrated)... grrr... so hard to tell what the part would be. So do I also need the p/n 7697Y? It says "JAMNUT, seat latch pin (not illustrated)"?? | |||

The jam nut just keeps the pin in the at the right height after you have it adjusted. I would use one, but you could pick it up at the hardware store..I'm thinking it is fine thread |
