Which tires would you guys pick for a 98 S1W... Michelin Pilot Road 2CT or….Bridgestone BT-016. I have Pilot Powers on my XB and love them but want tires that hold up a little longer on the S1 as it's more for highway travel... thanks in advance for your input.... |

i've preferred bridgestones on my S3, and have michelin pilot powers on the S1W, like them a lot, supposed to get decent mileage, too early to tell yet. |

I put a set of Dunlop Sportmax Roadsmart tires on my S3T. I've put about 3500 miles on them and I think they're great. They are multi-tread where the center section is designed for longer tread life and the sides are more sticky for corners. I spent 3 full days in the rain and was amazed at how well they performed. |

Go with continental road attack for all season and the race attack for summer or track days. here is where i get mine fromhttp://www.americanmototire.com/catalog/index.php? cPath=33_108 If i can't wait i buy them in town from a friend at a honda dealer. |

I got my tire from the place suggested above but later found out that www.ridedirect.com had better prices. Up to you. |

Get some Pirellis and forget about it. Best tire you can put on a motorcycle. The Stradas are good for highway use while the Diablos, all variants (my favorite is the Rosso), absolutely don't like to let go of the roads no matter how much lean-in you're doing. |

I got 7K out of my back Pilot Power. That seems like pretty good life for a sport tire. How many miles are you looking for if you're putting them on a bike that expects you to be catching the toe of your boot on the pavement? |
