my bike is an x1 special edition red racing stripe. i put harris american flag grips on it and it really goes with the buel theme....what about painting the subframe an american flag, as well as my airbox cover...? kind of like a tearing away of paint to reveal the flag, sort of like the liquid special paint buells. | ||

For what you want done, I'd take it to a shop...Sounds like you need some airbrush work done. | ||

I would consider getting some used body work on E-bay and saving the Racing stripe stuff. sounds kewel other wise. | ||

im just talking about painting the tail section (which i have an extra one) and the air intake cover (which is airtech) im not painting on the red plastics! | ||

Color matched subframes look pretty slick, I think you flag theme would look effen AWESOME, especially if the red was a close match to your current color. | ||

Where did you get the battery cover I'm tired of looking at my battery. I am also going for a Army theme and a painted battery box would look nice. Thanks for the info and can't wait to see your progress. | ||

I've been callin and all of them just want to look at the battery breakdown and go no further. I suspect they will need a physical H/D p/n to figure it out. Ugh I didn't think it would be that hard to look it up but its apparent it is. Thanks for the timely replies I WILL find a cover. Move Out Draw FIRE!!!!! | ||
