Hey Buellers, I plan on changing my front pulley and I don't know if new bolts and retainer are needed? I see they are included when buying a new pulley.  but if I buy used should I pick up the install kit? | ||

I plan on reusing mine. I've gone through and through the FSM and haven't seen anything about NOT reusing the old hardware. I would definitely inspect the take off stuff to check for wear but FWIW I'm reusing but it's your bike and hide on the line. | ||

Yea, that's what I've been hearing to and I can't find anything in the manual about replacing those bolts. Maybe they get chewed up and then need replacing |
