Author Message   4dwuds Posted on Monday, February 23, 2009 - 10:45 am:        I have a 97 M2 and there is no tach, Just the speedo. Later models have a speedo and tach. Is the wiring in place already on my 97 or will I have to wire up the tack if I add one. I am also wondering about a wider seat for my, shall we say wider seat. The present 2x4 is OK for moving it around in the garage but gets a little numbing after that. Will I have to change the seat and fender or will the wider seat just slip over the narrow fender I already have. I wouldnt hesitate to go to it, i did and am very happy with it. Also, the manta tank is required for it to look right. I put a s1 tach housing on my m2, and it worked out ok. All the wiring is there in the main harness so if you have the right clips its plug and play.
