Wilson man you're taking a beating with the purchases aren't you? I bet you have QVC on the speed dial. Anytime I see something and wonder about the price I'm contacting you! |

I have a plan.... Once Wilson buys a Uly I'm driving the truck to his place and buying all the tuber parts at a bulk price. Start putting in dibs for what you want! |

PK those are Blast bags, X1 bags are deeper and the zipper is in a different place. |

Roger, I don't think I'll be letting it go super cheap. To get the Uly, I'd need to sell everything at the top price possible. That's a big if though. I may have to sell everything anyways, and not have a bike for a year or two. |

Brin, if I buy your M2 and come out and pick it up please let me borrow your tools so I can put it back together at your house and ride away with it. What I am trying to say is while the Uly is an adequate bike it does not have the soul of a tuber. You don't have to know jack about bikes to ride a XB. Of course I do have a rigid frame that the M2 motor will fit in. It would make a bad little chopper. Your choice! |

Brin, I sold my 97 S1 to a young man and bought the XB12R. The Firebolt was a great bike and trouble free. I soon realized that one of the things I loved about my 97 S1 was I could work on it and took pride in keeping it on the road. A month later I tried to buy my 97 S1 back and the person I sold it to informed me it was stolen. Like an idiot I went out looking for it but that is another story that Lynn can tell you. To make up for my sins I sold my Electraglide and bought the S2T which amused Mr. Buell when I told him that at Homecoming. The S2T was showroom condition when I got it so I bought the basket case S1W just so I would have a Buell to work on. I failed my Buell 12 step program. I love all my Buells and the Uly gets a lot of attention from me but when I need a break from life I wrench on or ride one of the tubers. The Uly gets me to work and back and I would have no problem heading towards any coast on it. It does not stir me the way the S2T or S1W does. You have a classic Buell with a great color combo and I know you have the will to keep it going. If you need help I can fly out for a weekend and help. If you have the parts it should go ok. I just need a place to shower, sleep and a few cold ones. I know money is an issue but I just wanted to warn you about the withdraws you will have if you sell the soulful M2 on a modern do everything bike. Besides, from my experience you will spend a small fortune accessorizing the Uly. Frank |

Guell, No, not yet..It was merely a thought. Frank, I'll have to PM you to tell you more of the story and such... |
