Apparently I may have made a grand mistake: I have a rigid chopper frame that takes a Buell M2 motor. I have a 2000 Buell X1 (that I have resisted tearing down for almost 1.5 years after buying the frame because it's too much fun to ride). Could someone here tell me if the motor mount points are the same between the two or did I just make a costly mistake in terms of bike purchase. |

You made a costly mistake. Sell the frame and continue riding the X1. Why tear down a ridable X1?? Sell it and buy a motor off of eBay. (Message edited by brinnutz on February 03, 2009) |

+1 You won't get much compassion around these parts when you mention tuber destruction. |

To each his own, I have a parts bike for each model I own because of stuff like this. The mounts are the same. Dean |
