Are the 97-98 carbs the same as the 00 or 01, far as jet kits go? (Message edited by sstlouisjak on January 26, 2009) |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pe5K3kKDH2M&feature =related Thanks Guell I was (Buell baying) again. I ran across this K&N jet kit for 97- 98. I wasn't sure if they were different from the 00-01. I ask the guy had them up for bid. He said the 99-02 are different, I'd need a different kit. Hey check out this bike I found on youtube. Is that an oil cooler on the left side with that blue knob looking thing ? |

Yeah, i understand checking out ebay, i was looking at those too. If you want answers, talk to al at american sport bike. That is a spurgin oil cooler you see, but the blue knob is a frame slider. There has been a bit of controversy over them, most saying its best to let the bodywork take the damage as there is too much risk of messing up the frame. |

Ok Thanks... Yeah, I'm going to check with American Sports Bike, see if they have the spurgin oil coolers. I think they are cool looking. Probably good for the bike also when it gets hot out again. I couldn't really tell if that blue slider was part of the filter. Seems like saving the frame would be the better of the two evils, if it came to picking between the two. |
