I have a few things in the works... There is currently a patent getting approved to adapt XB wheels and brakes to X1 forks and swingarm. But don't worry guys, there will be a full write up with pics. P.S. Very funny Eboos! LOL |

Why the patent? All that's required is 4 step bushings and 2 brake caliper mounts |

actually only one brake caliper mount... patent is just a little insurance, and I knew some one that knew some one that knows someone that could get it done for cheap. Why not right? |

Depending on a friend of a friend of a friend would be better. There are many Tubers running around with XB wheels, its nothing new and not rocket science to do the conversion. No gain by doing it other than looks.........................and being able to say your wheels are made in China. |

I just do it to most of my big projects. I have a handlebar set that I made that I got a patent on also, and an air cleaner kit, etc. etc. etc. its just something I can get done for cheaper than usual. so quit knocking it please |

I don't know about the rest but sportster rear axles are indeed 1" and M2's are 25mm. I know because I had to trim down a 1" axle to fit into a Buell rim. (At least a 2000-2001 M2) Just mic the bearings. (Message edited by Buell_Bert on January 18, 2009) (Message edited by Buell_Bert on January 18, 2009) |

The Xb wheels are lighter? if the XB suspenders are added I bet that the ride / handling is much better, not to mention issues with the shock go away. Tuber wheels have got to be getting scarce, JRramsey, I have a lathe project if you are interested, I want to do some new wheel spacers that protect the bearings and seals better out of steel, rather than aluminum |
