I have 2002 S3. What year Sportster's can I get covers from, primary cam covers and so on. I have seen Nightster covers for sale. I think they went chrome and sell the black covers. |

I believe you cannot use covers from a 2004 and up Sportster. The Primary cover changed slightly in 04 |

I know the primary changed slightly in '00, so you need a '00-'03. '94-'99 had different cam oiling passages. |

Oh yeah to clarify, use '00-'02 Buell, '00-'03 Sportster. Buells had new case design in '03, Sporties got it in '04. I. Actually have silver primary and cam covers off my '03 1200S, but I'm debating if I want to use the cases from the same bike for my upcoming project I'm starting later this year hopefully, and if I do I want to keep the covers. |
