Rex, I think I read about your "Thunderclone" in a Battle2win years ago, but I don't recall anything about the front wheel. Is that an XB wheel with ZTL disc, or something you devised? |

He has TWO ZTL rings... I'm intrigued. How hard is it to keep the back wheel on the ground when you stop? Z |

Yep, she has Zed the 550 Zephyr, she had a Honda CD250 before that. She has got used to the power of the 550 very quickly! She was thinking about maybe a City-X one day... then she rode the X1 and now she *really* wants a City-X! (Unfortunately they are fairly rare here, they were only brought in for couple of years, 2005 and 2006 I think, only in blue or black) So it could be a toss up of which is the next Buell in this house... an 1125CR for me and we share the X1... or a City-X for her... Or a trip to the U.S. for Homecoming in 2010... Whatever happens we both win though |

PS The alternative is an XB9S which was a reasonably big seller here. It's a real pity they don't bring in any 9's here any more |

Hmmm... I wonder if we could pick up a new Ciy-X from the factory... then ride it to LA and crate it there... And if we're picking up one bike, well, a second one wouldn't be too much extra trouble... (Give me an idea and my imagination just runs with it! ) Actually, the idea of picking up a Buell in the U.S. if/when we go to Homecoming had crossed my mind before, before the exchange rate took a big dive . In the '80's BMW would let you order a bike in Australia and arrange to pick it up from the factory in Germany. The bike would be built to Australian spec including Australian compliance plates etc so it could be registered when you got it home. My brother in law had one of the first K100RS's in Australia this way, and had a nice ride around Europe too. I wonder if Buell would let us pick up a bike from East Troy? |

Not familiar with the City-X, how does it compare to the 9s. BTW did you paint your tail yet...on the X1 of course. |
