you could you could put a s2/s3, firebolt or possibly even a 1125 front end on it. Mine has a the firebolt front end on it and from what i can tell the modification was a pretty simple one to make it fit so I would assume if you really wanted wind protection the 1125 one would probly take the same effort. correct me if I am wrong but i belive the s3 front end it a direct bolt up. |

As Firebolt says the S3 fairing bolts straight on you just need to find all the parts you need, I got all mine off eBay at a reasonable price. From memory there are some instructions on how to fit it on this site somewhere. |

I am currently working on putting an 1125R competition fairing on my M2. So far, the mock up is going well. I am just waiting on the fairing to come in from Airtech. |

I like the firebolt fairing idea. I was going to use the "palmer brackets" and their windshield. But the firebolt windshield isa much better idea. I like to 1125 fairing but I'm guessing cost would higher than the firebolt?? and I'm going to ask another dumb question both fairings have 2 headlights that a problem? I'm sure an easy fix but electric not a specialty of mine..... |

"I like to 1125 fairing but I'm guessing cost would higher than the firebolt?? " Nope. I was shocked when I saw how cheap the fairing bracket was, and the fairing itself was cheap. Of course I am not using any lighting or any mirrors, so I guess that would have to be factored in. |

here is a picture of the bracket that holds my firebolt front end on. It is basicly two rectangle pices of metal one on each side with two holes to match were the s3 fairing would bolt on to the frame and two holes drilled out for were the bracket would bolt on to the xb frame. |

SO if I were to get the firebolt bracketry and the firebolt front alittle drilling and the firebolt bracketry would then bolt right up to the m2 front end? |

that is correct. Also a side note the gauges were relocated to were they would be on the firebolt. Looks like the guy who did mine just drilled two holes to bolt the guages to the firebolt bracket so that they are not sitting on the handle bars. I think the most difficult part of this whole installation would be figuring out witch wires are for the brights and the dims. |
