I want to do something different with my bars on my 98 S3T . Just wondering what some people have done. My friend has a machine shop so I was thinking of making some crossroads, but wanted to see what others have done first. | ||

I put a S3T bar on my '00 M2. You could try that, but that would require the purchase of another bike. I can't see any better reason than this - | ||

A buddy of mine put Ulysses bars on his S3T. Interesting combination for sure but he likes the wider bars of the Uly for less input and greater control. I think they are nearly the same height as standard S3T bars but wider and has the cross-bar for added stiffness. Works for him. YMMV BC Steve | ||

You didn't state what you are trying to achieve. I used an 1 1/2" rise bar from a late model Lightning to lower the reach and give a more aggressive riding position. This works well for me. I only wish that I could raise the footpegs about an inch. | ||

I bought the euro bar for my S3T right from my Buell dealer. About 2" lower and 1.5" farther forward than the stock bars. These bars are listed in the parts manual as an option. Bolted right up and fit into the cutouts of the fairing. I did loosen the banjo on the front brake master cylinder to give it a better angle. I think I paid about $60 cnd for the part. | ||

Thanks guys. I'm not sure what i'm trying to accomplish. I'm younger so comfort can be sacrificed for looks, but I do want to move the bars to a more aggressive look. I am thinking I may put a euro fairing on the front and paint it to match the silver so i'm looking for whatever "fits" with the look. | ||

cheapest way to go lower would be stock M2 bars, you could probably trade yours to somebody with an M2 who wants higher bars. Just to get started. | ||

I put a set of Prec. Eng. 1" spacers and a set of $20 moto cross bars on my M2 and like very much. The risers can be had for around $50 very nice stuff. Came in at about 1.5 " lower and 2.5 " less pull back. | ||
