I have one of these. I don't think it was ever used, at least it does not look like it. Ping me if you are interested in a price. |

pm'ed. Was hoping to see if anyone had any opinions on it's durability, as I plan on riding without a rear fender. |

Yes, just arrived in the mail last week. Fit and finish A+. I also do not run a hugger. Looks durable and really finishes tail. Now my rear looks nice like other sportbikes, not primitive and slobbish. I never really noticed how poor the tail looked unitl I put on the undertail. When a Ducati owner asked me, "What was under there before this?", referring the the tail. I answered "nothing". He looked at me and sad, well thats pretty cheap. He was right considering Buells NEW were not cheap.

Yeah, I am reassembling my bike after a rebuild. I will take pictures this week. I just bought mine and the production date is 2-06. I suspect that because they sell very little of these they might be gone when they are gone as alot of tuber parts are becoming. |

The way it mounts is that it has a rubber gasket edge that fits under the rear tail from Buell and that is it. It would work if you were handy with a Dremel. You would just have to take your time with it, do good measurements and a steady hand. Without my Dremel I could not have done half the Custom things to my bike. I do not have a Ventura but I can see how they mount and it would not be that bad to Dremel, only where any bar would come thru. |

I've had that undertail for a few years now and would recommend it to anyone. Painted mine black though. Cleans up the tail, stiffens it up a little as well, keeps it from vibrating as much and as a bonus keeps everything under the seat and tail nice and clean.

Devdawg, What fairing do you have on that beast. I got a Givi A770 and a chin fairing like yours. Flitz makes your SS headers like chrome. |

That's on older pic... In that pic it's a cafe style faring cut down to fit an M2. I have a Firebolt faring up front now though. I still have the cafe faring, if anyone is interested.
