Hello all, I have followed the install directions to the "t" and the rack does not seem to line up with the grab handles. Specifically, I will install the rack when everything is lose (I have to tilt the right side handle to get the rack all the way down on both sides of the handle), then I snug the mounting bolts, and the fit seems to be good. However, it takes a lot of tugging to remove the rack after it's all snugged down. This doesn't seem right compared to the videos on youtube of the install as the installer on the video removes the rack from the handles with ease. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! i followed insructions, too. i have the same problem, but have accepted the less-than-perfect alignment. in my case, it is livable. if yours is not, email or call amy at ventura for customer service | ||

On my M2, it's a little 'snug' as well. I don't change it often though, so I don't mind. | ||

correction to the above, it is snug fitting the pack racks into the "L" brackets, not the "grab handles" | ||

I have ventura rack on both the Uly and the M2. The bar ends are out in space with little support. They can be knocked out of alignment pretty easily. When changing racks it is a bit of a fuss to get them in and out. | ||

I have the same problem with the '98 S3T. I guess we just need to fiddle with it until it lines up. I can live with that. | ||
