A clean one just came up. 6000 miles. Footpeg rubbers seem awfully warn for that kind of mileage. Maybe he drove it with a bad speedo sensor. Pod style air filter, loud V+H muffler and missing belt guards. That's going to have to be sorted. Won't budge below $5800. Is that too much? Thanks |

It needs to have lots of extra work done to it to even consider it at that price. |

WAY too much. Are you looking in Canada only? Here around Detroit I know of tubers which might suit you better... Try craigslist. |

I don't want to deal with the import hassle. I love the Cyclone to bits and am I going to worry about a thousand bucks after years of ownership and pleasure? What bugs me is that if I bought it and had to bail I KNOW I couldnt sell it for what he's asking. If I didn't already have a clean '00 Cyclone I would be mighty tempted. Let's face it, they don't make these anymore and clean ones are harder to find. Even at this price it's WAY cheaper to buy in and maintain than the funky Euro trash (BMW, Guzzi, Ducati) that turns my crank. I already have four bikes (no shame in that, I hope) so I'm not feeling to much preassure. What would be a good price? |

I live in ont ,I have identical bike but stock,&I paid that same price.for that price with only 6000 miles & a bike that was built in 2002 i would say its a fair deal.in canada for $5800 your other alternative is a 98 gsxr 600 that needs breaks & tires etc etc etc.& has no character. |

You had me until the 98 gixxer bit, anybody that would pay 5800 for a 98 gixxer that needs brakes....actually no brakes adds character... |

Can't help much with that but I did buy a grey 2001 with 900+ miles for less than $2800 - completely stock - just like I like 'em. I'd rather know I did the tinkering and that it was done right. SOCAL area tho'. |

Those are some real good prices. I'd be happy to pay that. Good job most folks havent caught on to how good the Cyclone is. My 2000 sat in the dealer backroom for 4 yrs. before it was sold. I'm the third owner, payed $4500 and had 7000 miles. |

I paid a premium price for my 2002 M2 but feel that I got a great deal. It had 1,900 miles and was a one-owner bike in pristine condition. My opinion is that it is cheaper in the long run to buy the best one you can find. Good luck Dave |

Bernd, Picked up my 02 Cyclone 2 years ago here in Atlantic Canada at a dealer (trade in) for $5500 CND. Bike had 13000KMs and a V&H exhaust was the only mod. The Rubber foot Pegs looked shot so I think they were shit to begin with, Looking at getting some Aluminum soon. It sounds like a lot to Americans but up here $5500 doesn't buy much and the way the dollar is going....$5800 still seems a little high but $48000 sounds better but you are correct the $1000 wont seem so much in 2 to 3 years. You'll spend way more than that in 1 year servicing a BMW or Duc. |
