Hey Noah, if you were born in '96, that makes you a little young to be on a motorcycle...don't it? |

jstfrfun fyi my son is 5 years old and he rides on my buell and harley sportster! i owned my first street bike at age 14 was an old basket case rat bike xL1000 put it back together just in time to get my license at age 15 here in louisiana my very first bike was an old 76 yamaha 2-stroke dirt bike that had so much piston slap you could actually kick it anywhere with no fear of a compression kickback as the cylinder was worn beyond all repair, but it still ran.....just not well.....took about 1/4 throttle and a half a can of wd-40 to start it but if you knew the tricks it was a nice freedom for a kid in the country....actually got laid my first time after a nice country dirt road ride on that old yamaha...that's a different story though...kinda wish i had that old bike just for memory rides heck it rode better than she did but that is a way long story |

I was referring to your birthdate of 96 on your bio, that would make you about 12. But then again I was 13 when I stole my brothers Kawi 90 the first time. Any way , just pokin fun at ya. BTW I preffer the supertrapp system on my bike, why are you set upon the borla? |

The full Borla system is all polished stainless steel. It's gorgeous. Sounds pretty nice too. The slip-on I have heard - it produced a deep, meaty sound, it's sweet as well. They make, err, made those in carbon fiber... it would be really nice with your stock header if you took some time to polish that up since it's got chrome or some seriously polished end caps. It's kind of a fat, round can, shorter than the Supertrapp, longer than the race can. It would look pretty sweet on that CF Edition bike of yours. Just wanted to join the conversation, the Borla's have been my favorite pipes on our bikes since I saw one on an early M2, then I heard them run, wow! I have no idea how they perform but they sound great. -Mike |

ive got an s1 borla c/f can if anyone is looking for one, it is practically brand new, i bought it new and put about 1,000 miles on it. LittleBuggles has the sound described perfectly, as for the power, it improved the low end torque slightly over my vance & hines as well as kicking up the high rpm horses, great can, just gonna stick with my ss2r since my bike is tuned for it |

The Borla exhaust I had on my bike didn't last. 2000 M2L Cyclone. maybe 14,000 miles and from the vibration off of the engine she had alot of small vibration cracks. My exhaust was the carbon fiber make believe. Off she went. I made an exhaust. From the collector back, I ran a 2 1/2" i.d. pipe back behind the kick stand and shot the exhaust out to the left. All parts were available at Auto Zone. Total cost, maybe $10.00. Did not have to re-tune or re-jet. She is loud, thunder-boomers when you crank it down. 1FNGR |
