the rear tail section is also longer for a twin seat. I can get pic if you need. I have a twin seat on my s1 thinking about changing to solo setup | ||

"the rear tail section is also longer for a twin seat." Is it the same as a 97-98 M2 tail section? The point I'm trying to get across is that I have NOS tail section and used seat for an early M2. If these parts are the same for an S1 Twin-tail, I might be able to help someone out. | ||

I'm pretty sure the early (97-98) M2 tailpiece is the same width as an S1's, it's just longer. No the M2 is longer and wider, nit by much but it is. The mounting is also different. The good news is you can mount the narrow M2 tail and seat onto a 99-02 M2. The bad news is you can not mount a 97-98 M2 tail onto a S1 without frame modification. | ||
