Ok im looking for a definitive answer. does anybody know of any year gsxr or similar bikes that have a sub frame that will bolt onto an x1? also does anyone know any years of subframes that are steel so they can be modified to match up with my frame. do you guys think its possible to fab a steel subframe to fit any newer rice tail section? im thinkin a cbr 1000 tail section would be rad on a buell. any pics you guys can scrape up would be excellent as well! | ||

One of the best looking mods in my opinion is if you take the plasic from under the tail and TIG up smooth aluminum underneath. I think Chase has his done like that I was always too lazy to do this. I even still have the ugly square plastic under there  | ||

 Yep.. I got a solid polished panel underneath... My buddy Matt put a GIXXER tail on his X1, made his own subframe. I cant get at his pics from here at work, and I dont know the spefics, as I wasnt present... And Kyro, yeah, I am DIEING for one of those tails to the market... Chase |
