After being away for two days I went into my garage and saw a wet spot under my M2. It is gas. I discovered the gas is coming from the small hose that is attached to the bottom of the carb. What do I need to do to fix it? Thanks in advance |

Make sure you turn your fuel tap off when the bike is parked. It means that gas is sneaking past the needle and seat and flowing out of the overflow. Mine has done this a couple of times so now I'm in the habit of shutting off the fuel every time. |

That hose at the bottom of the carb isn't an overflow line; it's a drain. It sounds like the brass screw that seals it has loosened. You can access it from the backside of the carb at the bottom of the bowl (from the left side of the bike) with an 18" thin flathead screw driver... lefty-loosey, righty-tighty. There is no overflow hose on these Keihin CV carbs that I'm aware of. |
