Bret Replacement is a newer more robust throttle body.Larger butter-fly post with new TPS senser.Mine broke 2 yrs ago at 55,000 miles on my 99, S3.You also will have to reset TPS.About $100.00 Don,t have # handy but dlr will.Butch

Butch,

I talked to the dealer. Are you saying the superseded model comes with the tps already installed? The dealer said 91.25 for the new one part #29536-99ya. I asked about the tps they do not know alot about Buell. He said my current one would work.

I had mine break too and the throttle stuck at about 80 mph, it gave a few exciting minutes. I'm pretty sure that the new one came with a TPS installed. It isn't a real difficult job to replace, but you will need to do a TPS reset before it will run right.
