I've just recently noticed that there is a little more vibration coming up through the pegs. Anyone know what this might be a result of or things to check? Thanks |

I've always heard to check the rear isolators when you notice this. |

It's most likely your rear isolators. I've been riding this summer with mine doing the same, actually clunking in the right peg. I know it's not the right thing to do but winters in michigan are long and riding season is short. I'm saving mine for a winter project. |

So, I'm guessing this isn't good. Isolator has no tears or anything. But, it doesn't match the other side:

My isolator bolt was similar to that, maybe back a little further. I've seen other ones that i know are good and none seem to be right in the middle. |

They don't position right in the middle, but if the iso has worn enough for the bolts to be hard up against the frame you'd definitely be feeling more vibration. |

Yeah, that iso is a tad too close for comfort. Maybe time for a new set. |

Brinnutz, I feel vibration at certain RPMs on all my tubers. The S1 is the worse. I noticed that the vibration gets worse at 3200 RPM when the exhaust is getting loose. I get the same symptoms with the isolators as well but it is a different feeling and I cant describe it but to say the isolators give a vibration over a larger RPM band. I see isolators in the picture on bikes that are wheelied a lot or just ridden hard (nothing wrong with that). I would replace them. Check all you exhaust mounts. Frank |

All, I forgot to mention that pic was taken when there was no weight on the swingarm. It was on the center stand (supported via pegs). I put the bike back on the ground, and they no longer look as if they are "resting" on the bottom. Frank, Maybe I notice it more because I'm wearing actual riding/racing boots with a lesser sole. Exhaust was fine last week or < 100 miles ago when I checked. It was mostly when I get above say, 3 grand on the RPM's. As for the comment, I do wheelie alot, and I ride her hard. In fact, I only have about 1/8" of untouched tire now because I've been pushing it (my pegs are ground down nicely now. And, since I ride with nothing but Jappers, I have to push a little harder to keep up because they like going fast. "I wanna go fast!" ~ Ricky Bobby. Hope you and the family are doing well!!!!! My regards. |

Brin, if the exhaust and isolators are ok I would start checking all bolts. It could be anything but check the stuff you may have had off or messed with recently. I had a gas tank on loose and it felt like the whole bike was shaking apart. Frank |
