Does anyone run a cooler plug in the rear cylinder? Does that make sense? |

Have I done it... no... Does it make sense... maybe... I could see it if MAYBE, you are in high temps, and in stop and go, or very slow moving traffic, everything gets HOT and stays that way, thus, inducing a bit of pre-ignition, due to the plug being so damn hot.... BUT, realistically, if you are having that issue, just go cooler all around. Chase (Message edited by chasespeed on July 28, 2008) |

If you are racing, It MIGHT make a difference. For everyday normal street riding I run the same plugs front/rear. |
