Sometimes the tang breaks off when the cable binds. Timing is everything. I just sold a new, never used, S2 speedo on Ebay. No time for fun. I checked the front drive and didn't see any tang. But not sure what I'm looking for. Could you describe or could I send you a pic? Mike   V2win Posted on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 - 08:49 pm:        The hub in the front wheel has a hole in it. The speedo cable drive unit has a "tang" that fits into the hole of the hub. As the wheel turns, it drives the cable drive.
