Hi All, I just joined the Forum and thought I'd say hi and share some pictures (hopefully) of my highly prized and loved 2002 Cyclone. I just put on a free flowing air cleaner to let it breath a little better and to help the performance with the Vance & Hines pipe. I had to rejet the carb of course, so I pre-bought some jets, a 180 main jet along with a 45 and a 48 pilot jet. I should have taken my carb apart before hand as I was surprised to find a 195 main jet already installed. Kinda surprising to find such a large main, but the previous owner said he had it dyno-tuned when he had the pipe put on. So, since the bike still seemed lean after the air cleaner install, I put in the 48 pilot jet along with two thin #4 brass washers under the needle to bring that up a little bit. Looks like I nailed it as the bike runs like a scalded cat !!! Anyway, I really love this bike. It has bar end mirrors that I really like over the stock units. I also have the license plate mount chopped down, a LED tail light with built in turn signals, although I added very small halogen rear signals for higher visibility. Today I removed the front top engine mount and chopped and smoothed it to get rid of the very ugly tab for the stock airbox support. I then primed it and painted it satin black to match the heads, what a difference. Really cleaned up the area and looks great in my opinion. Only problem I've had thus far is the speed sensor biting the dust. Guess from what I've read here that it's fairly common. The guy I bought this Buell from had two M2's. This one I bought and another '02 that was the orange/gray combo. I really wanted them both, but he wasn't ready to sell the other one at the time. Of course there was no way the wife unit was gonna let me buy the second one when it became available six months later, oh well. That orange/gray one went for like $4500, I stole mine for $3100 !!! So I guess I'm pretty happy. So I'm going to try and post some photos, here goes, thanks, Shooboy |

Thanks Nevrenuf, I appreciate the welcome. I've already gotten alot of info off this Forum, and finally decided that I should join. I've owned lots of bikes in my 33 years of riding on the street, and I feel that these used Buells are an excellent value. I think these tubers will be highly sought after collectibles some day. And I absolutely love the simplicity of the design of these bikes. They don't have any crap hanging off them, everything serves a purpose and is simplified. By the way, I sold an original 1981 Kawasaki GPz1100 with original fuel injection to buy my Buell and I never looked back. Where can you buy such a great hooligan bike for $3100 ??? I've owned Harleys in the past, but this is just totally different. It's a joy to ride and I think I'm gonna be ridin' this for quite some time. Unless my son wrestles it from my hands, he wants it badly. We'll see, I'd have to find another one like this before I'll give it up. Thanks again, Shooboy |

That is a clean looking bike! I might be buying a orange and grey one soon, but i'm sure i'll be paying upwards of 4k. $3100 is a steal for that bike, IMO. |

Might I suggest removing the rear fairing. You can always put it back on if you don't like the look. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/476 23/282175.html?1180708912 |

Nice Cyclone and a great deal too!! You're killin' me though. I've gotta get busy on mine. That's just the kind of motivation I need though. One of these days...... OH!!Welcome to the BadWeB!! Not only special bikes but special people too. Some are even exceptionally special. Buells do that to you. Rotzaruck!! |

Blue used to be the fastest color; but now it's silver. It's just pure coincidence that my bike was originally blue and is now silver... |

Congrats on picking the right bike and finding the right forum. Treat her nicely (with the occasional"spanking") and she'll love you long time. Blue may be the fastest, but black is the baddest! |

Mine was blue and it is in the shop now for Ice Silver/w Red metal flake in the clear coat. But I have you beat $2750. (I bought in February in PA. CCOOLLD) Looked almost identical to this bike. |

Blue and silver may be the fastest but the Molten Orange handles better than any other! |
