Don't kid yourself Dog, just try to sell one of your perfectly massaged reconstitutions on the market, it's disgusting. I just had some jerk tell me(without looking at it), my 99X1 was only worth 3,000 It's an insult! |

You know that reminds me of the late 70's and 80's when idiots were doing stupid mod's and beating the crap out of all the Mopars, and other cool muscle cars. Then the early 90's came along and they were sorry they either f**ked with it or sold it. If you modify it, keep all the stock stuff. Hold on to those tubers if you can. |

Good God, the price of 60's and early 70's Mopars has gone insane. I wish I could have the 1968 Dodge Charger (identical to the one in "Bullitt") that my parents had when I was a kid. We actualy went to the movie "Bullitt" in that car. Years later, when my buddies and I saw a black and gold TransAm idling out of a parking lot after we'd seen the movie "Smokey and the Bandit", I knew exactly how the people in the car felt. |

I could see building a Redneck Chopper out of a wrecked Bike. But no way would I carve up my M2 to make one. Those bikes pictured above are not even close to my idea of whats cool. As for the classic cars-they deteriorate with time and it costs a fortune to restore them. I sold my '67 GTO after owning it 30 years. I still have a '64 GTO but CARS SUCK. TT |

Hey Fun, You know that IF they dont want to pony up then you want to keep it, the guy may have been looking for a donor bike, or thinking that he could get it cheap in 10 years my bike will be worth more and I have kept my take offs. so it can be restored. I dont care what its worth. the real question is do I enjoy it. |

Actually, I like the second one... the first one though, makes my eyes hurt... I have toyed with scoring an X1, or other tuber to make a parts pile from... I would prefer a salvage bike first though(cheaper). And, what the bike is worth, is really no concern of mine. I own it, paid cash for it, and everything I have done to it. It aint for sale...and yes, I do get a emails here and there.... and even the random phone call... Look, they are bikes.. meant to be ridden... period.. take what you will from that. Chase |

Well what it they were in a wreckers yard, and they guy "saved" it from being completely junked? All the time spent fixing these up was time not spent watching "Desparate Housewives" on TV... All good ! |

The thing that always gets me about guys building their "dream bike" is, if they are that good, why do they always sell them as soon as they're finished? |

IMO they are all junk... no style, ugly. They would've all been better as Redneck Mutants, or some other chassis kit. And some color besides murder! |
