Well, i have this weird sound going on, sounds like air being sucked in from somewhere. Sounds around the box covers, i did some wet down test to see if anything was sucking in or blowing air out and i didn't see anything. Performance hasn't been affected, but its annoying. japan buell seems to think its because of the different gas, and the JDM X1 has a different intake manifold and fan setup or something. its not intake manifold gaskets, i replaced them before i sold the bike to the guy i bought it back from because i had to get the update intake manifold as well since my shaft snapped for the throttle plate, no leaks that i can find at all | ||

Check around the rocker boxes... I had a bolt back out, and aparently fall out, of the front rocker box.... It was making this... chuffing sound.... like nothing I heard before... I dunno, but, its something to look into... check the gaskets as well... Chase | ||

been a LONG while mate finally got my bike back. its good to have it back, even with the 1200.00 or so in repairs that need to be done | ||
