I am looking at getting a new EBC front rotor from American Sport Bike(http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/5109.html) My question is which one should I order? The site shows that there is a left and right side??? Also are there any other color options I can choose from other than the silver carrier they mention in the details? Also has everyone had good luck with EBC??? Any advise, PROs and CONs? Lastly on the American Sportbike site it shows a scalloped front rotor as well which looks way more "cool". Does any have this one? Pics? Thanks, Mike (Message edited by Buell82 on May 18, 2008) |

I've had an EBC rotor on my M2 for a year now - seems to work just as well as stock, albeit a bit noisier during light braking at very low speeds. Never seen any color other than the silver carrier (silver buttons, too). No rust as they indicate, but I live in Arizona. I prefer the "traditional" look over the wave rotors. There are two versions of the EBC rotor, one that uses countersunk screws and the other button head, so be sure to match the rotor with the right ones, which you'll need to order separately. |

I use an EBC on my S2 and love it. +1 on the slight "whizz" noise when using the brake, but I think that's cool Better performance than the stocker IMO. Silver carrier, also no rust to speak of and I've been caught in more rain than I care to mention. If your bike is stock you should be looking at a right side rotor - your brake is on the right side of the wheel. They offer a left side rotor for those who put on the dual disc kit. The only "downside" I can think of is the carrier has more material in it than the stocker, so it hides more of the wheel from view. |

I can't believe how insanely high stock rotor prices got. I hope this isn't an omen of things to come when it comes to tuber consumables. |

Hey boys, noticed a few of you have aftermarket rotors, any of you interested in selling the stocker that you replaced? I did ask in the classifieds but thought I'd try here. Its for a bud, I sold my old one to someone here already. Please help. PM me. |

EBC works great, perhaps you have to spacer the brake caliper a little to get it back in the middle off the disk |
