only 153 miles?!?!

dang that is a sweet deal but with only 153 miles on a 13 year old motor... the moment someone starts driving it, theyll have to replace like every one of the seals, gaskets and rubber parts.

Is there consensus about this...ALL or most of the seals?

at least 'most' with a possibility of 'all'.

if i was to bid on this bike, i would check it out in person first. for what they are asking for it, its worth a plane ticket to check it out. i would test drive it and check the functionality and condition of the engine.. check the tires for dry rot, swing arm bushings front motor mounts etc.

chances are that its going to need the same maintenance today as a bike that just clicked 15k miles does.

its detrimental to ANY vehicle with ultra low mileage when its as old as this buell is. you are generally better off buying one that has been used and maintained properly, with the correct amount of mileage for its age.

this bike hasnt even passed its engine break-in period yet.

The conditoin of this bike would really depend on what enviorment it has sat in...
A dealers show room floor?..it would still be second to none! A wet garage?..it would be toasted..
Ive had army 45 HD engines that sat for 40 years, stored properly, all they needed was oil, gas, and a motorcycle to be put into..Hb
