I understand, (going to the Buell site to check out the fuell magazine)the 08s get a different throttle cam with a less aggressive off idle ramp and less total through. Has anyone put these on yet? Or know that they will not work? Joe |

Highly doubtful since so much has changed, including throttle bodies. Most folks want a more aggressive ramp so they don't have to twist the throttle through so much travel to get to WOT. |

The reason they de-ramp them is because it makes the Fuel Injection less "twitchy". |

If you subscribe to the belief that smooth is faster it makes sense that the softer initial ramp would enhance control and the shorter over all throw will make it easier to access full throttle. This would have been nice when I had the DDFI on the S3, just of idle was a bit on the snappy side. I also suspect this may be a repair to an undesirable trait. Joe |
