Race ECM. It is plug and play. Fixes most of the drivability issues. |

Neat! Ordering.. How do I install, is it really only plug+play? No resetting blah blah? |

Once you install it, you need to run it at 3500+ for, I think, 5 minutes to have it learn the engine. You should also do a TPS reset. |

What is a TPS reset and how do I do it? |

Stands for Throttle Position Sensor and it tells to ECU the throttle angle. It is a function that either you can buy software to do or take to a dealer. The TPS resets tells the ECU that the throttle is at zero and you'll find it needs to be done on occasion. If you don't have one, buy yourself a service manual, it will pay for itself over and over. American Sport Bike sells the software for about $200 to run on a laptop. |

OK then will have my dealer do it! Can I run the bike with the Race ECM before I reset the TPS or should I wait with installing ECM til I am at workshop? |

The ECU is held in by two screws and the wiring connectors. You should change it in the dealer's parking lot whenyou get there. A TPS reset takes hardly any time at all and if your engine is already warmed up, it will be more accurate. |
