Hello everybody, I bought some pieces on ebay for my X1 and in these parts, I have an ECM Race (not for X1 because it's not the same dimension). Part Ref. is N1306.01A3 I found on the buell parts list the ref N0306.01A3, it's for a M2 (ECM Stock). Do my part is for a M2 ? Thanks by advance. Laurent Sorry for my english!! |

Im just wondering but what would a race ecm run ($) for a 99 X1 buell? Im still one the fence on switching mine over to carb and was thinking it would help offset some of the cost for the swap if I sold off my ecm and such. |

Joe, I have been watching e-bay for a race ECM for my '00 S3 and have seen them sell "used" for around $175, for a new one off the shelf - $250. I'm still waiting... Good luck, Bob |

If I were you, I would just buy a new one. I bought a used one from a member here that turned out to be bad. $155.00 down the drain. I bought a new one and all is well. Just so you know, the NEW Race ECM's do not look the same as the old ECM's. The new ECM's have the same outer appearance as the new XB ECM's which means they are much smaller. |

Chicago Harley gives 20% off H-D and Buell parts. That knocks the price down to 200$. Call in the order for the discount. I wouldn't mess around w/ ANY used electrical part. |

The M2 part, is an ignition control.. wont work with your DDFI X1... I agree with you Chase. My question was : Is the module in my hands is for a M2 or may be a XB (it seems that they are the same dimensions). And for my knowledge personnel, like the M2 is a carburetor model, what this module brings more than the original ? |

It's in the 2000-01 M2 Parts Catalog. Yeah, kind of bored so I'm replying to 4 year old posts. |
