Sucks to be a new guy to the Buell world and my first post to be a question, but Im in need of help. I just got a 99 X1 lighting and the fellow who had it before me decided to try to run the wires of the bike in the frame rails (he smokes crack) so now I have to try to get the wires back into the black an grey plug for the ecm (says For Race Use Only). Not all of the wires where removed from the connectors but all the ones going to the top of the motor aka fuel pump, injectors, tps,et sensor and so on. Can anyone help me out with a diagram to get it back together? Its a 99 Buell X1 Lighting. Thanks Joe turbojoe21012@yahoo.com |

Joe have you removed and re routed the harnes to the top left frame rail as it should be? Buells tend to shake and the wire in the harness, the insulation is a little soft
this is a 2001 manual but I bet that its the same. The 2 marks below B10 are B6 B7 Incomming signals enter the ECM via the grey connector, outputs exit via the black except the power which goes in on the black connector @ Pin 1 and the bank angle "sensor" @ B10 Plan on buying a shop manual and congrats on your purchase.. |

Chase where did you get the PDF manual? I would sooo like to have a copy as a PDF VS my book I like the idea of making notes in the document or printing out just what you need. |

I did too, and when my printer actually printed, instead of just being a copier/fax... it was great... print out what I needed... take it out to the garage or shop.. and get it all nasty.. and toss it... PM sent... I owe you a favor or 2 anyway.. Chase |

chase if it would'nt be to much trouble I would sure appreciate it very much if you could email me the diagram, and thanks old dog for posting the page here, I tried printing it and its coming out to light for me to read. I'm trying to get her back to the way it should be but I've got my hands full thats for sure, I'm just hoping not to fry anything. If this becomes to much I might have to go to a carb swap but having the efi seems a better idea (right now) |

I am trying, but, hotmail wont let me upload the file... or any file for some reason, and I dont know howe to convert from .CLP to gif, jpeg or anything else to host it online... Its coming from Adobe, and I have no clue how to get fancy with that other than reading it... Chase |

My 2001X1 is sooooo much better with a mikuni 42 than the O/E efi! It's crazy! |
