I love the S2 (and now M2) groups. Should we start one for each of the following, and reorganize the posts? S1 / S1W S3 X1 RS (I didn't miss any, did I?) Or do we think that would cause a lot of folks to miss "crossover" ideas and parts? Admins, keep up the great work! |

it always helps to post to all relevant threads. this gets maximum response and/or gets your content out to as many as possible |

I guess I could have my own thread for my wierd RS-S2T turbo bike. Wait, I think I already have that thread - it's called 'profile' AL |

I don't think it should be all separate. There are only 2 to 6 or 7 posts a day in old school now. So many tuber questions crossover would not be seen by someone that is only watching "their bike" threads. For instance...I never thought to check the M2 forum, although I may have the answer someone in there is looking for. I will from now on. It would be different if there were 50 Old School posts a day. |

If separation is inevitable, let's just make a separate 2001 S3T forum. That'd work for me. Thanks for your consideration. |

BUELLers: The "TUBE FRAME" engines should be in one GROUP ... "AS" BLASTs and XB's in one GROUP ... WE must not forget the BLAST as it is just 1/2 of of a XB9 ... In BUELLing LaFayette |

I don't think this thread is busy enough to justify all the folders. I kinda like it most with just one Old School thread. |

Too much stuff that applies to all Tubers. Leave it alone, I like reading about other stuff while I'm here. |

I wouldn't bother. How different is it to adjust the jetting on an RS1200 and an M2? |

My bad...Im the a-hole that asked for an M2 specific folder. I thought it would be a good thing, but it looks like some see it as more trouble than its worth. I was just hoping for a centralized spot to find M2-411...sorry for the monkeywrench, ya'll. But for the record....I dig it. I dont mind clicking a couple extra times to peruse the entire ol skool section, and the M2 is badass enough to have its own little corner of Badweb. edit: I forgot to mention that Im a "wheeee!" bit biased. I never had a problem with the way we were lumped together... but either way is fine with me. |

torque, i don't think you have anything to be sorry about. i would like to think that the m2 is the most ridden tuber out there. i could be wrong but who cares. m2's rock. |

I get the idea behind having each one. The difference between an m2 and an s1 or s2 is only really the front end, cam, and tail. I just think if each model had it's own folder you may go a week or 2 without a post in some. I think you would miss some good info if you only checked your model specific folder. Either way is fine but I don't miss much if I check the old school section once every few days. There is normally just a few posts to look through. I would hate to read an s1 only thread with about 20 posts a year... |

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Unless you work for the government. Then if it ain't broke, break it and fix it!! But seriously, one Old Skool folder works fine for me. |

I see how this has the potential to become a little cumbersome...It is nice to check ALL of old school all in one shot. Now, model specific PICTURE/KV folders would be a different story. I think thats what my subconcious meant to say when requesting the folder... (Message edited by TORQUEMONSTER on December 24, 2007) |

Joes should have his own folder. He deserves it. Maybe titled "How the hell?...." |

I don't like the separate folders. We don't have that many posts on Old School anyway, and people will miss crossover info. Plus, you can get maximum exposure for your problems by having only one forum. Tubers are so similar in so many respects it's better to keep them together. I vote to get ride of the folders. |

I'm relatively new here, just got my 1st tuber (99 X1) a few months ago. I've found it helpful to read all the posts, some are relevant to X1's, some is info stored in the back of my brain to help decide what my next tuber will be...M2, S3?? One vote to keep them together. |

Unless you work for the government. Then if it ain't broke, break it and fix it!! paintshaker, I belive the official gov't credo is "If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is" |

Now, model specific PICTURE/KV folders would be a different story. I think thats what my subconcious meant to say when requesting the folder... We can limit the M2 folder to Welcome, Story Time and Pictures. If we take out the option of "start a new thread", then all questions/topics will remain in the main section of OSB. Would this give M2 owners the best of both worlds? Maybe this is why Blake hasn't done this in the past... |

adjust your email settings in your profile to get posts on any relevant threads/topics. it aint brain surgery. that way, there are no missed posts. |

leave it how it is it seams that to many of the questions a tuber rider may have cross to all the tubers, for example if i asked in a m2 thread how to change spark plugs and an x1 rider has the answer to post i may never get his/her help if they only check an x1 threads.but if it happens i will look in all the threads n e way! |
