I decided to go with the Digi-Beast speedo, I'd already chosen this set up a long time ago and had already spent so much building the dash. So here it is fitted! just needs some powder coat and the wires routed once I reassemble the bike. Cheers Jodie

The speedo's mounts are little rubber isolators. And the tach will have just a small rubber under the black rim that touches the dash surface. I'm going the totally anti polished metal look with the build, I want easy low maintenance as it will be ridden daily in all weather. When I eventually rebuild the engine I will be bead blasting the push rod tubes and powder coating them too. I'll be doing the Force winder polished parts as well. Cheers Jodie |

Merry Christmas to you guys too. I spent the morning putting the kids toys and bikes together! (And getting the bloody toys out there package was a challenge!) I gave the dash a little wet and dry sand to tidy it up a little. Jodie |

Thanks Travis I painted my first parts yesterday! I welded the headlight mounting brackets together, filled and then painted. I was hoping to powder coat this part but because I can't weld the cast ally good enough (too many pin holes!)I had to paint it. Minor detail! As usual some pictures Cheers Jodie |

Thanks Jim and same to you. I bought the primer and paint for my bike yesterday (PPG Cobra) Snow flake Pearl white. I have spent most of the day yesterday setting up my shed to spray it. I bought 4 flouro lights and mounted on the walls plus sealed the shed with drop sheets and fitted an exhaust fan. A lot of work but I hope to get great results. I should be posting some pics soon of it all painted up! Cheers Jodie |

The painting has begun! I'm giving it another light undercoat in the morning to cover the rub troughs. And I'll be spraying the top coats on Saturday. I converted the Mrs car shed into a temporary spray booth Cheers Jodie
