Blake, No one that I know of makes a kit for M2's. The kit for the S1 was marginal at best. You're going to be better off assembling your own fittings and hoses. There is a line available that goes from the pump to the filter however, any Sportster accessory catalog should have them. I know Russell makes one. The problems is with the tank fittings. They are fastend into the tanks and are hose barbs. The aluminimum tank (from American Sport Bike?) might have threaded bungs let you use standard AN fittings. Brad |

Yeah, way too many... I need to pull the front head off my S2 to repair a bad exhaust valve seal. I still need a crank for my M2. I have fiberglass repairs on both my son's and my S2. My neighbor has an old GL1100 I promised I'd help change a head gasket.... Another GL1100 needs a carb rebuild. What all are you doing to the motor on your M2? Brad |

I got complete set of Russell braided steel lines for the oil bag on my M2 from Al at American Sport Bike. It also included the oil pump feed line as well as the vent line that you'll uncover when you trim your cam case. You'll need to figure a way to sheath or route the braided lines so they won't scratch and eat their way through everything they rub against. |

DJ, I'm not sure if they are available anymore. Also one more thing to watch, make sure you keep ALL braded lines away from the starter leads. Don't ask how I know.... |

yeah i think that i would cover the outside of the stainless lines with a clear hose similar to the stock front brake line, Brad what did you do to your m2s crank? and HOW? i dont remember looking to close at your m2 what have you done on it? how did your neighbors molton s1 turn out? i got a lead on a local swingarm from a 1999 M2 if your interested for your s2 or his bike... blake |

Umm, err,, Yup! There sure were sparks!! Real purdy blue ones and lots of them! I had to pull the line off and put 2 layers shrink tube on it.. and reroute it.. |

so i am now going to add the xb oil cooler to my frame, look at the bike in here that does not appear to use an oil pressure sensor but instead has an oil cooler line, should i do this or take the other route, i would like to retain my sensor for oil pressure can i get a sandwich style adaptor? |

Cyclone, I'd use an adapter between the oil filter and the mount. Lots of them on eBay. also you might want to think about a thermostat or shut off valve for the cooler. My 40 plus years of MN living (before heading to NC) makes me think that you will need to turn it off in the spring and fall. Jagg makes a great one that you can get through Drag or others. XB's use a different oil system that seems to me will put more heat into the oil. XB's and Blasts have piston "squirters" to cool the pistons. The tubers don't have these. Good luck! |

Blake, If you are going t5he route of the XB heads. I would take it one step further and drop the XB cyls on it also. The extra cooling fin area will negate any thought of using an oil cooler. The XB combination out in the air flow will shed a boat load of heat. So much so I pulled the oil cooler off my S1 |
