Xldevil....How did you get that S1 tail section to bolt up? I really didn't like the M2 because of the large tail section but you just gave me a reason to pick one up!! Please send me some info on the how to. |

I picked up an S1 tail with seat to put on my M2 but decided I didn't want to chop the sub frame to do it. |

My Cyclone´s rear section frame was chopped by Gerhard Mörk. This Dealer built a special Retro S1 edition to bid the tubers a last farewell. http://gumping-brothers-mc83.de/MM.html As far as I know and what I can see on my M2,you simply have to shorten the subframe´s tubes and reweld them. A little different 2002 M2 but I just like full faired bikes although not for everyone especially those who "like to ride necked" Bob

I am new here. I had a M2 and it was stolen years ago. I recently returned to CONUS and retired. After seeing these pictures I think another M2 is in my future. Thank you for the web site and the great pictures. |

Man that retro looks killer. If I decide to pick up an M2 its getting that tail section no questions asked!! Some may be upset on cutting up a piece of perfection. But I don't mind cutting things up to make them look better and even more perfect. You should see me truck, lol. |

I thought the red reflective "RACE" stickers on my rebuilt shock were a nice touch, too bad the heat caused them to peel right off. |

Here are some pics of my M2. I did all the polishing and blasting of graphics into the chrome myself. Like the thre gauge dash??? S3 clocks are hard to come by these days. Here is the same bike on the track ( I crashed later that day... oops)
Don't worry... it is all fixed and back on the street good as new (Message edited by koz5150 on December 28, 2007) |

Thanks Mick. It's a pain to keep perfectly clean, but as tubers become less common it is enjoyable to have one that really stands out. I find a garden hose, soft rag, Simple Green cleaner, and a leaf blower keep it looking good enough for everyday driving. |
