Do you have any plans for the paint yet? Or is that going to stay on the down low till it's done. |

This is a photo shopped colour scheme, I don't have the funds at the moment to get it done.

I just read an article on the Ducati Hypermotard. That is one seriously cool bike. If Ducati thinks they can sell that machine then Buell could sure as hell sell your bike. They should consider an updated tuber along the lines of your bike with a little of the CityX styling. We could totally give that Duc a run for its money. I am totally impressed. I can't wait to see the final result. Bill |

I was trying to clean the shed today! and got a little side tracked I made a mount for the license plate, I think it looks pretty cool. I'd like to fit a cheese grater out of an XB lightning to it. It needs some tidying up then paint. Here's some pictures! Enjoy Jodie

I've also mounted the voltage regulator under the tail. Showing off the rear wheel Another idea I had. I like it but many don't! Cheers Jodie |

The XB12TT has a cheesegrater that is black without holes. That might look nice on your frankenbike. |

reguardless of what anyone else thinks jodie, you've done a bang up job and i dare anyone to put their bike up against yours and say they put more thought into it than what you did. keep plucking away. |

I've always liked the stock s1 fender with the plate mount on it, wish there was an easy way to put in on my bike with the aluminum swingarm. Would keep the crud off your voltage reg too... |

I'm looking at remaking the tail light/number plate bracket out of sheet aluminum. Will keep you posted! Jodie It's been a long time since I've been able to enjoy this bike and some of the awesome roads we have around here! It's been off the road a year and a half now! |

What digital speedo's have you guys seen that I could use on my Buell. Or can an XB one have an alternate sensor i.e front wheel type used and then calibrated as my Buell has no gear box one fitted as standard. This is the one i'm thinking of using Digi-Beast Also the trail tech Vapor any thoughts or ideas? |

Is that just a clock? A little hard to pass a road worthy with no speedo! Looks cool though I'm looking at using the whole gauge setup from a 07 KTM 690 Supermoto. http://65.57.254.60/letko/catalog/showpart_2007.cf m?componentid=20436&engine_number=088510G&chassis_ number=%209775G0&model=690%20%20SUPERMOTO%20ORANGE 75014169000 Speedo fig.1 $273.99 62514068100 Speed sensor fig.2 $47.99 61111079000 Wire harness front $44.99 Total $366.97 Equals $420.20Aus plus postage Wire harness is from a 07 990 Super Duke part fig.19 in this link. http://65.57.254.60/letko/catalog/showpart_2007.cf m?componentid=20647&engine_number=089821G&chassis_ number=%209875G4&model=990%20SUPER%20DUKE%20ORANGE The reason for the 690 dash is the lower rev range of the tacho. This is the 990 Dash rev limit is to high for a Buell! I started sanding the tank and rear fender today. I hope to be back on the road mid January! fingers crossed! Cheers Jodie |

Everytime I check in on you, it gets better and better! Absolutely one of the coolest bikes I've seen yet. That plate holder looks stout enough to be a 12 o'clock bar. But subtle too. Wish you were closer so I could hang out with you. Anybody want to start a paint fund for Joe? I think ten bucks from a few here and there would get him there real quick. Love your work........Mattu |

Thankyou Matt I may be a little biased too as I think it looks very cool! I wish there were Buell fans in my area, That can come and hang out in the shed! If I ever get the chance to get to the States I'd like to catch up with yourself and Ceejay as he's in Ohio too I have a brand new seat waiting at the dealers for me plus new fork seals and bushes for the front end. Matt as for the painting fund offer, Very generous and flattering. But I'll be right thanks I have a Christmas bonus coming and I'll have enough to get her all done Cheers Jodie |
