This is a place for S2 owners to post pictures, S2 specific topics and general discussion about their beloved Buells. If you will let me know the threads that you want moved here, I'll work on that as well. Enjoy and welcome to your new home! |

This is so cool, we've got our own little spot! I wonder if there's a way to make it a "sticky" so it stays at the top of the forum? Thanks to those who put it together though Almost as a sign, I installed some PIAA lights on my S2 earlier this evening. It killed me to drill 2 mounting holes even though I put them on the very bottom of the fairing, under the turn signals where you can't even see them...but the lights are awesome and definitely make it worthwhile. The lights are a bit smaller than the signals, the silver housings blend nicely with the fork tubes behind them when you look at the bike from the side, and they are B-R-I-G-H-T. Great for riding home after dark in deer season. And I have them aimed just on the edge of "too high" in the hopes of avoiding yet another "I diddun see him" accident story in the future, LOL. If I can find where my wife hid the camera, I'll get some pics... |

I set up a page with some of the S2 related threads I found doing a badweb search. Thanks again Ulywife, and F_Skinner for bringing this alive again! Bart (Message edited by bartimus on November 07, 2007) |

You could probably move it at any time, just lock it down and leave a redirector link to over here. |

This could be kind of fun . . . may be time to start breaking out and telling some of the old S-2 stories. What an incredible motorcycle. |

This S2 folder has taken on a life of its own....if Blake bans me, you guys will have to come and defend me! When your wives/girlfriends complain about more time being spent on BadWeB talking about your S2s, remember, you asked for it! FAQ Story Time Show Time Signature Series |

Uly - the problem in my house won't be "you spend too much time talking about that damn bike"...it's that my typing time cuts into my riding time, LOL! Great work putting this section together. Thanks for the time and effort! |

Rat - living in MD, I'm sure your riding time is going to get limited with winter fast approaching...so type away! You should be able to get through the first layer of S2 stuff by time Spring gets here. |

Oh...you think I'm smart enough to come in out of the cold? Hah! I cheat - heated jacket liner and gloves, dual thermostat mounted to the top of the instrument cluster behind the flyscreen. No snow = no cage |

The sweatshirts were the coolest Buell has EVER done. Mine . . . damnit . . . got bleached. I've got an entire collection of unopened S-2 shirts, jackets and so forth. The jackets were also some of the best stuff Buell has done. I have to tell you that since they've turned the fashions over to the group of recent marketing grads it's gone downhill. The current crop of Buell stuff is simply the stuff they've been doing for the HD crowd that's been convoluted. I'd love to see them put an outside agency (I'd vote for Laughlin-Constable) on clothing duty. |

Court - first off, what are you doing posting at 6am? THAT, my friend, is dedication!! Second - I would love to talk with you sometime about S2 clothing. Currently I have none and I need to fix that Next time you stumble on the box(es), think to yourself "there's something I'm supposed to do when I see these boxes...", and call me please.

A bit expensive back in 1995-96 though.. I belive it was $45. The embroidery was great but faded with bleach.. This is a closeup
