I polished a few pieces, is there anything I can apply to the bare metal that can keep corrosion down to a minimum? |

If you are talking about aluminum, my understanding is that it doesn't corrode. I use Mothers to keep it clean. |

aluminum corrodes without protection of some kind. depends on environment!! that mothers cleans as well as leaves a protective coating behind. corrosion on aluminum is one of the biggest problems we repair on helicopters here in the oil patch. any wax or sealer product will do the job with occasional applications. i like the spray clean and wax type products IE: meguiers,turtle wax tim |

I remember seeing a product on a car show that was a aluminum polish and sealer. They were using it on aluminum wheels. It was suppose to last up to a year, IIRC. I think it was Zoop Seal? Does anyone have any experience with that product? |
