I had a clogged injector that started like that. You might be able to get them cleaned. I tried a few places that didn't have adapters so I finally bought new ones.

It sounds like fuel delivery. Maybe injectors? Maybe fuel filter? I w/ run some Techron thru and change fuel filter. Filter is less than 10$. If that doesn't work and assuming bike was fine b4 mods, maybe the chip is bad?

Bike has 800 miles...Has bin sitting...
TPS just reset...
Charging battery as it was low yesterday...
Gonna run some inject cleaner thru it as Its fuel smelt rotten when I got the bike...
drained and freshen that...
Idle 1000+
I think maybe just some good running time and a few spankins may help it...
Hope so...LOl...Prob not till spring now tho as the temp up here in the Great white is starting to drop off....approx 35f today.
Thx 4 yer input guys...Hankb..

My vote goes for injector cleaner, and a new fuel filter. Think old gas gum in a main jet, and you could have what's in your fuel filter.

That reminds me, I need to get a filter for my in-law's Volvo...efi with less than 5psi at the rail, no wonder it won't start.

My problem turned out to be a leaky intake seal. See if my profile description sounds familiar.

Open up the air box and clean up the gunk around the throttle plate. The TPS might be thinking "let's go", but the gunk isn't letting the air through. Low throttle position is a fine injector line on these types of FI's (I believe they're called Alpha-N's?).

I'd recommend that you pull the throttle body to clean it good and replace the throttle body manifold gasket when you re-assemble. If it's a CA model, make sure that the hose to carbon canister is not leaking or the plug on the vacuum fitting is not leaking. Lube and adjust throttle cables.
