bought one for my bike, and it is still mounted, so i guess i would say its good quality. Fit was "almost" perfect, didnt have to shave or anything just muscle it into proper position, lens itself was excellent quality. Havnt figured out the slow wiring (resistor) but i dont care, the fast blink imo is better considering it is a tail light/turn combo (safety!) the reason i installed it on my s1 was for clearance for my soft bags, now the bags are gone so i am totally indifferent, i'll even sell you mine for the right price! |

I just installed one on my M2 and it fit great. Easy to install! The resistors didn't do anything and with all the vibration broke right away. I don't care if they blink a little fast either... I did have one problem with mine though. The original one I got has something wrong with the brake light. I called the company and they are sending me a new one with a return shipping label. Unfortunately they are on back order until the 22nd. I haven't had any brake lights the last two times I went out. Is that a bad thing? I paid $80 with free shipping. My M2 had one when I got it. I took it off and replaced it with a stock taillight and turn signals because it had no provision for a brake light and I don't want to get pulled over for something stupid. Personally, I think the stock turn signals are much more obvious to other drivers and they don't look bad either. |

mine works perfectly, brakelight, tail light, and turn signals. When i first installed it the brake light would only flash on than stay off really quick when i squeezed the front brake lever, i took it apart and made sure the "plug" was seated well and everything was good to go after that, is this the problem you are having jimmy77? |

Sorry, I had a brain cramp. I meant that it had no license plate light. The bottom is transparent but no light to speak of gets on the license plate. I was thinking of adding a small light bulb to correct that but it seemed like a better way was to just go back to stock. |

Now I don't know what the deal is with this integrated light...! I just got the new one Friday and installed it. Same thing. No brake light! I tried them both and made sure it was very snug in the socket. I put the stock light bulb back in and it works fine. It's a freaking light bulb I shouldn't need an electrical engineering degree to plug it in. Any body that has one got an idea? Could I have gotten 2 defective lights in a row? |

did you try out your rear brake lever to see if that one works? plug inserted into the socket the correct way and turned, i remember mine being a little difficult to rotate once it was in the socket? |

Yes on rear brake lever, and I used a pair of needle nose pliers to make sure it rotated right after plugging it in the socket... |
