There is a NOS seat on ebay that looks like a standard M2 seat. I have an M2 Low and want a standard seat. Does anyone know the part number for a standard seat for a 2002 M2? The auction closes this afternoon but I will not bid unless I know it will fit. Thanks, Dave |

Dave, I have a NOS seat from a 1999M2.If you don't get the one you want, this may work for you. It's for use with the 5gal. "Manta" tank.

I have a new in the box (box opened and showing some wear from time and travel) M0086 LA if you or anyone is interested in that. Box label is "SEAT, W/ RUB PAD, M2 09/10/02". The pan has "Buell M2" moulded into it no other labels on tags on the seat. The pan has the mounting lip moulded in as part of the pan, not a metal one as I think I'm seeing in the one above. Also the grip strap is mounted with two screws to the sides rather than one in the center as seen above. It is free from any signs of use or previous installation. I have about $100 in it, it is in Maine (04605), and I'll consider any offers. Email to jacker@midmaine.com. Jack |
