There's only a few of us Bueller's here in good ole South Bend, IN and even less tubers. A guy approached me one day at a 7-11 when I was out riding not too far from the house. Turns out he has seen the bike sitting outside my house a couple times and we started talking Buell. He said he knew a guy around town who had a 1998 S1 White Lighting with 10,000 miles. Well, a few days later he stopped by the house and dropped his phone number off so that he could ask me what I thought of the deal. He bought the S1 for $4500...It's pretty clean. Forcewinder, chrome primary and cam, pushrods, Buell grips, Carbon fender (rear), V&H exhaust...It's bad as hell. It has the Tach also... This is my dream bike, why does he have it! Anywho, I now have another tuber who, comes to find out, lives 3 blocks away! My other tuber buddy lives less than a mile away! Oh yea, just got to see it for the first time tonight after I got done replacing the rocker box gaskets at my other buddies place. LOL Sorry if I'm scatter brained, I'm stoked to have another Tuber around! I may have to see if he'll trade me bikes! I mean, OMG it's beautiful! Keep on keepin on Tubers! |

I can't get a second bike...I can barely afford rent yo...I'm a poor boy going to school barely working part time. You're right, I'd never get rid of my bike. It's perfect. But, I reeeeeeeeeeeealllyy want an S1 someday and this is the first White Lightning I've seen in person and it's, sexy. I'm pretty sure I pitched a tent when I saw it. |

I feel ya....Its got me thinkin "S1 tail conversion" on my M2. It would be badass on your bike if you kept the same color scheme, Brin. |

Me thinks you were referring to the cover. The M2 is a sporty with free breathing intake and exhaust. the S1 / S1w are warmed over as I understand it heads and cams in some cases. the later versions m2 vs X1 about 2 or 3 IIRC 98 vs 101 crank |
