Hello everyone. I'm new to the board here. I just bought a 1999 M2 about 3 weeks ago and have already put over a 1000 miles on it.

I have one question, there's some guys I used to buy chopper parts from that make a very cool points cover for evo big twins, can I use the same cover on my M2?

When you remove the riveted plate, the holes for mounting your new points cover will be top and bottom. The BTs and older Sportsters have horizontal holes, so depending on the design, it might matter.
