That's not good, is it? I was riding down I-4 a while ago about 80mph, and my(it turns out)brake light switch decided to become unstuck by melting itself down. I don't know how long it was stuck, I need a new one, though. Made me a little nervous, but once I figured what it was, I rode it home. |

Nope, the fuse didn't blow, surprised me, too. I've replaced that switch three times in 16 years. |

I went through four in a a year. It was a grounding issue, or a bad connection somewhere (that I couldn't find.) I ended up running the brake light circuit to a relay so that the switch in the handlebars only has to carry the current to activate the relay, no the entire bulb's current draw. |
