The rear wheel bearing on my 99 S3 just failed for the third time in a year, and the last replacement of the large single one on the left side was in May and only a few thousand miles ago. There is obviously something else wrong to cause a failure like this. Suggestions? |

I hope your doing it your self?If not get a service manual and a blind hole bearing puller and make sure and replace the bearing. It is not hard to do,my dealer said they could not do it! |

Over-torquing the axle perhaps? |
